Default 69 Chevelle Springs

Hi Guys,

The springs I have installed in my 69 L78 Chevelle are awful. They are the 4 wheel drive package for Chevelles. I need to find a good source. I have searched ebay for used ones and what I have found are for small block cars. Not sure if there is a difference for the rear but I suppose are different for the front. Any ideas let me know.

Thanks
Lawrence

As I recall I bought the Eaton springs as well. I tried to get the most correct as I could get. Just looks high to me and a buddy who knows these cars much better than me agrees it’s too high.

Have you tried loosening the control arm fasteners with full weight on the springs to help it settle ?

No, but that is a good idea. Will do so at all four corners.

Thank you.
