Re: 1967 Berger SS427 Impala convertible
My mother bought a 66 ss427 from Berger back when the 67's where just comming out.It was marina blue with black top and interior, buckets auto on floor,AC power everything.Same as above, factory offical car.She had no idea what she bought. She just wanted a vert.Us kids where almost grown so no more woodgrain stationwagons.Sorry to say it was totaled a couple of yrs later on 28th st. just past what was then Rogers plaza.Don't know if it's still there or not.I beleive they were pulling out of a big boys resturant and some kid in a GTO that he brorrowed from a friend t-boned the car allmost killing my dad.

Re: 1967 Berger SS427 Impala convertible
Doug,
Very cool Z24! I've never seen one with the blue D96 stripes. It makes me wonder how many different colors you could get them in. Could you send me the vin number and trim tag information? I would like to add it to my SS427 registry. We're up to 116 cars! Steve

Re: 1967 Berger SS427 Impala convertible
Who ended up buying the White/Red '67 SS 427 Impala which Berger Chevy had won from GM?
It was loaded with options and ran some quick times at the pure stock drags (?) for a 5,000 pound car. |
