Default 1967 Berger SS427 Impala convertible

I thought you guys would like to know about my Impala that I have owned for approx. 30 years. It was Dale Bergers driver for the summer of '67. I know they (Berger) put out one white 4-speed, one white automatic (mine), and one red 4-speed. Total GM production was 130. I'll be glad to tell you more about the car if you would like. thanks, Doug

OK- here's what I know. The car was ordered and built for a VP of the Chevrolet Div. After driving the car for approx. 2,500 miles it was put on a "factory offical list" of cars available to select dealers. Dale Berger ordered the car off the list for himself. I want to mention that before Berger did anything to the car it came with Astro-bench seats in the front and column shift. Someone told me that a front bench seat was not available in a SS427 Impala. Any input on this subject? Back to my story, Berger removed the SS427 emblem from the middle of the grill, installed 427 numerials on both sides of the raised portion of the hood (like a '67 Corvette) 427 numbers on the trunk below the Chevrolet script and changed the exhaust by installing long 3" chrome pipes that exiting straight out the back with the ends extending slightly past the bottom of the rear bumper.I mentioned the car is white with Marina Blue interior and a blue top. One other very distinctive option is Marina Blue accent stripes that go along the upper sides of the fenders(factory-200 cars had them).
Sadly the car needs a paint job otherwise I would like to bring the car to one of your meets.

[/ QUOTE ] Don't sweat the paint job, sounds like a very interesting big Chevy. C'mon, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to get a look at it.
