Default Street Racing in Dayton Ohio

Here this viper does what it is quite famous for, - loss of control when the V-10 hits the moneymaker point in the powerband.

Well he did pull ahead... we used to be able to go to IMS and on parade laps lay back and then catch up, INDY at 120+ is an experience that many will never have.

Yep. Vipers ruined that too when on a parade lap in the mid 1990's a guy got on it, lost control in the same way as in the video above, and put it into a wall - hard.

After that radar guns and permanent track bans for violations.

That one can probably be removed from the registry...

Ugh, lose your Viper and have it immortalized on YouTube for all time after being goaded into the dumbest street race imaginable. I don’t think I could handle the shame.

Not to mention the reckless driving and exhibition driving tickets let alone your insurance company saying sorry, you were racing so no coverage.

No reason to lose control like that so world may be safer w/ him uninsurable/off the road.
Strange he hit a Goodyear sign...car turned in by itself wanting to shed its factory Michelins?

Here is a site that tracks them all: http://www.wreckedexotics.com/dodge/viper
5 Litre Mustang has more wrecks than Vipers built. No comparison..

That car didn't hook, he lost it looking in the right side mirror for the import

Yeah, the world is better off with him taking the bus. Just 'cause you can buy one doesn't mean you know how to drive it...

Technically correct. I suspect that the Chevy impala is also right up there on total crashes. The number of total wrecks will be statistically larger in a curve consistent with the total production of the vehicle.

Let me clarify, expand, and qualify my earlier statement.

Here in the US Law enforcement has a confidential database on crashes by cause. This includes street racing and stunt driving as cause sub categories. Here the viper is a national leader in the in this category for loss of control and street racing accidents.

Over the years several of my friends are or were elected county Sheriffs or Ohio State Patrol. I see no reason for for the fabrication of this information because these statistics are used for charging purposes with the prosecuting attorney as well as court testimony.
