As I understand it from the press release, this is not a synthetic sound that comes from a speaker. They say they ran some creative ducting through the electric motors which comes thorough the rear pipes and you can actually feel the pressure coming out of them when it revs.
SOOO..Its not like a sound track playing through a speaker, its really being generated by the electric motors right?? Of course this is likely BS because the electric motors are not spooled up while it is moving at ONE mile per hour or the concept has some kind of neutral mode OR its just simply a speaker.
So it obviously puts out fake noise to simulate the sound of an internal combustion engine, THEN why not make a car that whinnies and neighs like a horse if you want it to sound like "old things"?
We can be happy for Vin Diesel being part of this. A phantasy actor from a movie franchise to debut a fake sounding EV kind of fits.
