Default Gauge Restoration

When getting your gauges cosmetically restored is it necessary to get them recalibrated?

Absolutley,always.
Most include it with the resto, but I suppose some wouldn't today and make it an option.
Better to have it done while on the workbench, then after it's all buttoned up in the dash and your driving down the road to see your RPM,MPH,Engine Temp,Volts,Fuel,Oil or Clock is off by a few.
