I agree. There are a lot of old farm trucks that sell for next to nothing, because everyone wants a pick up. They are really heavy duty. The biggest down side is the rear axle. Usually geared way too high. My 49 Studebaker has a 6.66 rear screw. But you can find dually rear axles pretty darn cheap.

That's an understatement. I have taken at least a dozen 4.10 14 bolt full floaters to the scrap yard.
I put 3 on FB last year just to see if someone would bite and got $300 for the set. |
