Are the 2020 corvettes always going to be in strong demand? Any thoughts?

2022 base price went up 1200/ many options are up 10% even the destination is up 200 or so. New car prices will affect used imo. People want cars that look like they are worth 300k. This car checks all the boxes

My opinion is that the 2020 Corvette prices have no where to go than down. As mentioned people are paying inflated prices now do to economics and lack of inventory. These will both correct with time. Couple that with the upcoming release of the Z06 and ZR1 the base versions out today will be overshadowed.

A close friend's brother had a 2020 "Vette. Bought new, kept for a few months and put a few thousand miles on it. Just sold it and made $18,500 profit on it. Cash out now before the market drops.

They have been talking about allowing dealers to mark the cars up on new orders instead of selling at sticker.

Already being done with the new Ford Bronco. $10,000 to $15,000 dealer markups are now in. That includes if you ordered a car months ago.

I looked at 2021 shelby. Dealer wanted 20k over sticker to order. Dealers also ordered cars for the dealership and put on showroom floor fir 20k over.....chevrolet only allowed dealers to charge sticker price and did not allow dealer orders wo a buyer name on the car/ no new dealer cars ..kudos to chevy for that

Yeah that's not true at all. I'm the Inventory Manager and Corvette Specialist at a Chevy dealer and there are plenty of dealers that ordered retail stock cars and had/have them marked up for over MSRP. GM can not control any dealership pricing. We are not selling over MSRP but there are A LOT that are.
