Velde
Rob, After i posted the question to you i Google searched Jeff Velde. Mr. Velde passed in 2012,he was inducted in to the Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 2008. He grew up in Ill. but moved to Florida when he and his father bought a Ford dealership there.
I watched him race many times at Beach Bend in Div.3 points meets and the Sportsnationals.He was always a top contender in each event. Richard
