Default Pictures from Nemedia Dragway NHRA Open & divisional points race

Last week I took a trip up to northern Pennsylvania to drop off and pick up some parts. On the way back I stopped at Numedia Dragway, an NHRA sanction track to see some friends and watch some races.
If you ever want to see some great factory muscle cars try to get a chance to go to an NHRA divisional points race or a National Event.
Below are a few pictures I took in the pits and staging lanes.

One of the bad luck awards of the weekend goes to Jim Boudreau and his Golddigger car. Jim‘s car is one of the fastest big block stock eliminator car in the country and his engines are built by Lance and retired pro stock racer Jason Line. He was qualified number one for the event and unfortunately broke a valve in the first round.

Some more photos

Another bad luck award goes to Jerry MacNeish with his stick shift Camaro stocker.
In the first round of eliminations his new Hendrick Motorsports built engine blew up ending his day early.

Default Pictures from Numidia Dragway NHRA Open & divisional points race

Thanks Rob R. for the pics. That is me standing by the rear tire of the '69 Dusk Blue L78/L89 stickshift (3969 A/S) Camaro of my youngest brother Joe. He was the A/S record holder from 2016-2018 until the record was retired in 2018 and reset to minimum. He took the record from one of the new COPO Camaros that held the record previously. Don M.

The car with “Velde Ford” on the fender is Bill Hawk’s Shelby; pretty sure it’s a real car. The red “Shelby” is Ryan Horensky’s build from a notchback. Tu-tone blue ‘69 Camaro is John Gray’s former “LeBrun Engineering” car that is a killer on the circuit. Green ‘69 Camaro is Broadbent Brother’s many time record holder and always a late round threat. Marten’s record holder always a tough one! I know Hendrick Motorsports helps MacNeish with camshafts, but not sure on entire builds; that’s not who usually builds his mills. Jim B.’s “Gold Diggers” are always front of the pack favorites and show car quality….
Great pics Rob!!!

Eddie and Leon Miranian’s “Watergate Exxon” Corvette is one fast car! I had him in 2nd round at Mason Dixon last year and all I saw was tail lights. DeMarzo’s Nova always a threat to win class and eliminator. White Chevelle is Katie Sepanek’s ride out of “Sepanek Racing Transmission” stable. Low compression 350 that rocks.
