Sorry Tim, but I didn't install the right side mirror. It was on the car and showed up in pictures dating back to at least the '80s. Mirrors are both off right now so I just checked and it appears to be located 1" back from the left side with the leading hole drilled at 5-1/2" back from the front edge of the door,

The glass installation went well on the driver's side today, and we then went ahead and blew apart the front end. This will allow me to better address the gaps on the doors and fenders and also allowed me to pull the heater box since I forgot to install the dreaded Y duct. We then tested the new blower fan, hooked up some restored heater controls and everything snapped right back into place before we packed it in on the day. I now have some business matters to deal with for year-end so we'll see you all again in 2021.

Happy new year folks!

I don't know what you folks did for new year's eve, but Covid made it one of the least active in years. Where we usually entertain, last night was chock-full of car movies which made for a laid back evening. Watched The California Kid, Aloha Bobby & Rose, and finished off with Dirty Mary Crazy Larry. Caught some Z's after that and did some snow clearing from my roof this morning as the Chinook winds are rolling in again and things are melting up here.

This afternoon is a continuation of some bench work as we got started with some clean-up of the instrumentation carrier, the gauges, and the pedals yesterday. Soon I'll be ready to install this re-coned speaker, the AM radio, and the rest of the hardware into the dash. I'll continue getting all of this ready today as it won't be long before it's being called for. Might also get the wiring harness into the car today. Happy new year's day everyone!

Ahhh you know Tim. Just hanging out in my little shop...cleaning parts and drinking beer.

No seriously...been doing a lot of the boring stuff for under the dash. Like cleaning and detailing parts, rebuilt and installed the wiper system, restored a steering wheel, redid a tilt column, clear coated the pedal carriers, cleaned and painted the cowl frame, sorted out a bunch of wiring harnesses, installed the main dash harness, and got a spare non-tilt column painted and ready to pair together with a restored steering wheel that I want to sell, and also dry set the windshield so I could mark the lower tabs and redrill the holes for the stainless trim. Yup...been a little busy.

And so have you so I see? Setting up your new suspension while you wait for some snow?

Trying to keep pace here Bruce and still hoping to have the car finished by March. I should finish off the wiring with the installation of the dash cluster, steering column, and pedals in the next week. From there I will bleed the brake lines and then I'll get the engine and transmission installed. It's all going pretty well here now.

And how are you guys doing Bruce. Everyone on the mend at your place?
