Installing a new radiator tag
I need to install the above on my 69 Z28. OG one was missing. Do I remove the battery so I can get to it better and just tap the tag in the lip of the radiator or should it also be soldered in there?

Original was soldered.
I would just keep it in an envelope until the next big service. You could clip it on, but always a chance it pops off. Don't know how often or how hard you drive it. Obviously not likely to pop off sitting in the garage.

If you want it on there, epoxy it....or do as Lynn said.

I drive it about 300 miles a year. Car is pretty much done as far as big repairs left. I will take the battery out so I can get to it well and attach it with a little epoxy. I have had this tag about five years or so. Might as well put it on I suppose.
Thanks guys

You could put a little silicone on the back also, that's what I did.
