Let's see some pictures. I don't remember seeing pics of this car.

I like Camaros of all kinds. Fully restored. Driven cars that have survived. Time capsules.

Would sure like to see pics.

Thanks Kurt that's this car and I am proud to own it. You of most folks here I really look up to for your knowledge and well spoken manner. She aint a beauty but hey shes alright.

That 2nd owner is the CEO of a major wood carving company for some of our highest priced woods for gibson guitars ETC. Hes a very straight shooter who bought the car from one of the fellows he supervised back in the late 70s and early 1980s at the Byron nuclear power plant and was the original owner who I also got more documentation from.
The story is out there to read but point being not everyone got along with Bob and it took him a full year to open up to me since I did not buy it from him about the car and offer my wife and I a tour of wood carving business since not only He and I were QA managers, we are brother musicians and love guitars.

Its a great hobby for most folks and it brings people together and having Guys like you and Steve out there for guys like me and many others its a true blessing!!

If this is not the same car I will delete my post to not add confusion to this thread.

Thanks,

----Kurt, Steve and others,,,,I saw a 1969 Z28 once in the parking lot of the former owners business. He keeps all his cars at his business location. The car I saw was NOT this Dusk Blue Z28 but was another 69 Camaro that appeared to be a Z to me. It was not Dusk Blue but was "bright blue". I have only just seen pics of Kurt's great looking Z this morning and knew instantly the mistake. This was roughly 2 years before Kurt bought his Z. Now that I have realized my mistake I, of course want to make it right. Thinking back now, I had heard the prior owner had a 69 Z for sale that far back. It's just a guess but someone must have been there that day in the car I saw to look at the Dusk Blue car, but didn't buy it for some reason. That bright blue car was rough.
----I have already PMed Kurt and told him how sorry I am for the confusion and my mistake. I take full responsibility for my comments which were honestly made but obviously not correct......Bill S

Bill all is fine. I only followed up on this thread because I thought the car was a little better than the hit took. Remember, guys like you stumble across nice original cars from time to time but for guys like me its once in a life time and really they are only original once.
If I chose to I could send this car to JM for the perfect restoration but I cant see erasing all this cars history from those two owners .

I really enjoy the site and all you guys here that make it a great place for the love of these cars.
