Smile Heartbeat City?

Anyone else having trouble getting parts from Heartbeat? I placed an order 1 1/2 weeks ago & my order still shows "pending" on line. I have called, and the first response was that the server was down. I tried to call (again) this morning and their phone isn't working. If you go on their site, the notice reads that the delays are "due to bad weather". It could be that the bad weather caused the server problems (lightening or something?). Anyway - their service is usually good - I just wanted to know if the community is aware of any problems.

Note - I also order from Camaro Central (site sponsor) :-)

And Bill is correct, we’ve had a couple days of “stormy” weather but have not heard anything about outages due to this. I’ve been over there a few times since I started my restoration on the 67 and they always seem to have an issue especially with their electronic catalog. Trying to avoid doing future business as I’ve gone 45 minutes there to find out a catalog issue prevented me from getting the parts I ordered.

Could they have a holding Warehouse in another state that's effected by the weather?

Doubtful, the building he’s in is huge. I can’t see him having multiple locations but guess possible.

I live approx 8-10 miles east of there, and we did in fact have several big storms tuesday evening and there are still many places without power.

I just checked the DTE energy outage map, they have no power.

I called them about 10 days ago and they couldn't take or fill orders due to a computer issue. The guy I talked to said it was a storm related major issue and it was going to be a while before they would up and running again...no idea what the actual problem was. Could be they took a lightning strike and didn't have adequate spike protection.

Just yesterday, I received a rather lengthy and elaborate email/sale ad from them, stating that they were extending their "Labor Day Sale" and to look for a new section of their website that will feature many "NOS & Rare Parts".
