Default Help ID the engine .. Year?

Local guy has this Engine for sale.
Would like to know what year it is.
Can anyone help?

H=August 23rd 1971 on the block and the 21st on the head. Block and head casting also concur. Internet says TDJ is a truck motor.

'

Yep, a 'T' Suffix Truck engine from a '72 Pickup.
'72 Suffix TDJ was originally a 350/175 HP 4-Bbl w/ Auto.
The '80 TDJ Suffix was 155 HP but a different block.

1981 dipstick would have been on the right side, also most 3970010 blocks are 1970 to 1979.
