Default Pontiac GTO Book

12/1/2011

GTO Guys/Women:
Researching GTO's and 442 W-30 cars. I think I have what I need for the 442's, but would like a book that provides information for GTO's [the kind of information I would need to authenticate a GTO (either a '65, a '66, or a '69 probably) such as casting numbers for blocks, heads, etc., production numbers, options that were ordered, colors, etc.]. Any suggestions? Something with nice photos of cars would be great.
Thanks.

Tom Demauro's GTO book is great. Zazarine's GTO ID Guide (long out of print) is great too, although I think some info there may be outdated. And Eric White's book (linked above) is a must-have. I am pretty sure quantities are limited on that one because it's self-published.

442w30 and Tracker1:
Thanks again, 442w30! Tracker 1, thank you! These books are probably just what I need to learn about GTO's.
