Default Blackjack Headers

I acquired a set of NOS Blackjack headers. The part number is 3017. Unfortunately, I can’t find that number anywhere. Does anyone have an old catalog to match it up?

The story is, they were mocked up in a 1970 Chevelle but never used.

Thanks in advance, Kurt

Comparing w/ other Blackjack/Appliance Headers, they appear more Camaro like than 'Velle?
1'st pic below is your pipes compared w/ Nos '68-72 Velle pipes from this thread, note swept back angle of mid runners...
https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1301952
2'nd pic is yours compared to 1'st Gen Pipes from this second linked thread, pass' side looks different for accessories perhaps but driver's almost the same other than pic angle?...
https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1260298
Also of note in the second linked thread is Member Whitetop mentions he has a Blackjack Catalogue.
Best of luck!

I have a catalog. Remind me in case I don't post the information tonight.

Hi Kurt! Those look identical to my Appliance CH4s, which are for 67-69 Camaro. You can see mine on my build thread.

Chuck, I think your 100% correct, before Appliance headers changed to Blackjack the CH4 number was used, pretty sure the blackjack number is 3017, same header later issue.

I put a lot of those Appliance headers on in the early 70,s when I worked at a local Calgary speedshop JB,s Automotive , very nice headers very equal length too. I have a set of CH3 headers for a small block Camaro been saving them for years. FWIW when Blackjack took over they changed to that rotating lower flange.

Good note on the rotating collector flange, which is probably an improvement. The Appliance headers have four hole square collector flanges.

I personally don't like the rotating header flange, they tend to push out and split the gasket as there is quite a bulge where the flared sealing flange is, problem gets worse as the street hook up has the same deal.

I have Tig welded the flange both sides before and then ground and Roloxed off the flared bulge. I also noticed the quality of the bends and port flanges etc got worse when they changed to Blackjack name. JMO.

I put many different make headers on the 67-69 Camaros and Appliance was the only 1 that did not have any clearance issues with steering box/pitman arm or frame fuel line. etc. Wish they still were available.

The Appliance fit in my 67 like a glove! I was very impressed when I installed mine.

WW also cool they're B-Body!
Note the 'Vette pipes are the only other application shown w/ 2" runners and 3-1/2" collectors.
As above, they're similar to F-Body so may swap/fit one or both applications?
