Default March - June 1967 Tonawanda stamps - 3

Does anyone here who collects pics of real factory Tonawanda big block stamps have any examples in the March - June 1967 timeframe with a round-topped 3 in the Tonawanda assembly stamp? All my examples (hundreds) have the flat-topped 3.

Looking at a car that everything looks pretty legit on, except a round-topped 3. I have one stamp the very same day with a flat topped 3, but it is a different suffix.

Pretty confident it has to be a restamp, but thought I would ask here before putting the final nail in the lid.

Feel free to PM me if you prefer versus posting any pics on the public forum.

Thanks!

The one I am looking at is a Chevelle. But that would not matter on the font of the 3 used at the Tonawanda engine plant for the engine assembly date.

They had a number of different fonts to choose from. I’ve seen unusual numbers show up as one off examples. It would be best to find a an assembly with same date and build code that is legitimate for comparison. The next best is to find one that is close to the same date with the same application.

Jeff, I just now removed the paint from my block to get a more clear picture of my stamps. The 3 in my vin stamp is a round top 3. As you can see the block is the last week of May stamp. Cars TT is 06A.
