I noticed in the item description they mention VIN numbers under the rear seat and driver dashboard bracket - never heard of that before. Mis-statement or am I about to learn something new again?
Jim The VIN on the dash, on top of the cowl, behind the heater box, under the rear passenger seat, driver-side dashboard bracket, etc. have all been confirmed & verified.

Only two con VIN stamps on the body structure; top of cowl and firewall next to the blower motor duct. There is a date stamping on the steering column/pedal mount that should align with the build date of the car.
Odd, no mention the original body tag was lost during the restoration.
