HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

1970 OLDSMOBILE 442 W-30
FACTORY 4 SPEED AND BUCKET SEATS CAR.ORIGINAL PROTECTO PLATE, 3 BUILD SHEETS, OWNERS MANUAL AND COMPLETE OWNER HISTORY.MOSTLY ORIGINAL PAINT, INTERIOR, ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND UNDERCARRIAGE.NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THE BODY PANELS.ONE OWNER IMMACULATELY MAINTAINED UNTIL 1998.MOTOR WAS FRESHENED IN 2001.APPROXIMATELY 81,000 ORIGINAL MILES BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A 20,000 MILE CAR.THE CAR DRIVES PERFECTLY.IT HAS BEEN COLLECTOR OWNED SINCE THEN.BLUE WITH BLACK HOOD STRIPES AND BRIGHT BLUE INTERIOR.ASKING PRICE $105,000.PARTIAL TRADES CONSIDERED. THERE WAS A CAR THAT IS THE DUPLICATE OF THIS CAR BUT NO WHERE NEAR AS NICE THAT SOLD AT THE MECUM AUCTION FOR $105,000 PLUS FEES.

If it is the same one, yes, I sold it to LQ, bought it back, sold it again - went to a dealer who sold it to another member of this site and then it went to Ca it looks like? Belair, you should have bought it when it was in my garage - you know you wanted it!

LQ did own it but traded it back to CSX 289 on a Tiemann restored black/black 64 GTO. That 442 is a great car and I spent hours talking with the original owner of the car who is a fantastic guy and I would love to have the 442 back but not for 6 figures.

I have some updated info on the sale of this car I would like to pass on. Several people from this site and other ads have shown interest. After a concensus the owner feels a price reduction is in line. The car is being offered at $89k obo or interesting trade. Thanks for looking.
