Default Firestone tires

Looking for both 15" Drag 500 slicks or cheaters suitable for inside the wheel well use on 69 Camaro and 69 version of Wide Oval F-70x14 RWL tires.

Thanks,

Jeff

Maybe he's bringing more than a camera to SCR-X.

I guess I want something for my red Car that might be able to go down the track but at least would be safe for the street with tubes in it. On the other hand display only could work too...

Whacha got?

Could someone describe the cosmetic difference between the 1969 Firestone RWL Wide Oval and the 1970 model that was very common to Camaro SS's..........

Thanks

The reason I asked is most 500's are 30 years old, not good on the track. I have them for show on my Gibb car. Every once in awhile they show up on e- bay. I have another pair I'll check the size. Kim

Chuck,

Here is a link to a gallery of photos of the 69 era tire:

The 1970 version is, unfortunately, what is on my red car now:

Actually most of the Chevies ran M+H'ers. The Mopars used the Firestones more. Jenkins and Strickler ran the Goodyears!
