Those transmission and pad serial number stampings with a combo of big and little characters are exactly what I found when I was researching a Los Angeles Z #529xxx. Looks like original drivetrain to me. Here’s a couple examples.

Finally, a nice original drivetrain Z for sale. Don't see too many of them nowadays.
