Default #s '68 Chevelle SS396, 70% Orig Paint, Great Docs

This one has a lot going for it - looks like a good portion of the interior has been redone, but elsewhere most of the original stuff seems to be in place. Great color combination although the auto trans won't bring the $$ that a 4-speed would.

Owner needs his ass kicked for sanding the engine pad, though.

I don't follow the '68's, but did the Super Sports have the lower moldings like this one?

Yes, this is correct on a 1968 Chevelle SS. Elkie SS also has it.

I liked it better with the hubcaps.

I can tell you it never had the open elemenent air cleaner on it. (I have pics I took long before the current owner has it. The hubcaps were on there because the ralley caps got stolen off it

Looks like the correct air cleaner is in trunk, also comes with full hub caps although originally equipped with rallys.
