I went to a cruise-in in Middlebury IN on Thursday night. Here are two recently completed cars that I haven't posted photos of before.

This 69 Chevelle SS is a two owner car with a build sheet and other documentation. It has all original sheet metal and has just over 100 miles on it since being completed. It has a cloth and vinyl bench seat interior. The original engine was gone so the owner installed a destroked 454. He said it has a 427 crank and other internals so I think that would make it a 434. It has solid lifters and a complete 3" stainless exhaust with stock tail pipes. It also has an M21 with I believe 3.73 rear gears. It sounded pretty healthy when he left. There was a for sale sign on it, but no price.

This 66 Chevy II SS has an LS-1. I could do without the rear spoiler, but other than that it was a very nice looking car.

On Friday night Goshen IN had their annual cruise. Goshen used to be a big time cruising city until the 80's when it was outlawed. Now as part of First Fridays in July they have a cruise among other things. Main Street is 5 blocks long and it was packed with cars and people all night long.

I caught this sweet 66 Caprice cooling down in a lot just off Main Street. It has a small block with TPI. I liked the Chevelle SS louvers grafted into the hood.

This Drag Week regular was out cruising. This 68 Nova has a 400ci small block with EFI and twin turbos. It has run in the 8.40's at over 160 with 25 pounds of boost on race gas. When he drives it on the street he runs it on pump gas with 7 pounds of boost. He lives just down the street from me and occasionally I can hear him out exercising it.

I went to the Goodguys event in Columbus OH last weekend. There were only a couple of nice stock muscle cars there. There were lots of pro touring type cars.

Here are a couple of photos of my favorite car at the event, M. Rupp's 69 Yenko Chevelle that was restored by the Supercar Workshop several years ago. As far as I know this is still the only known Daytona Yellow Yenko Chevelle. It still looks great!

This is W. Robinson's 69 Z/28. It was an X77 car with a blue interior.

E. Pienta's 71 442 W-30 was sold new at David Ertley in Kingston PA. This car was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines and Musclecar Review several years ago.

T. Schell's 69 COPO Camaro RS had Canadian documentation showing that it was an original COPO car with an M22 trans and endura bumper that was sold new at British American Chev Olds in Toronto ON. I believe this car was a Barrett Jackson several years ago.
