Default Black Black Hemi Cuda

One of my earliest memories, that greatly impacted my life was sitting in a BLK BLK 4 speed '70 Hemi Cuda at the age of 12. Seeing a similar car being offered at auction soon brings back that like it was yesterday. If anyone knows the car let me know, I would someday like to sit in that car or one like it. Thanks with putting up with me getting all sentimental.

Harold,
No problem with the reliving of fond memories. First you have replace the L88 corvette you sold with another one before you go out and buy a Hemi cuda

I am definatly a GM man, but always thought my dream garage would include a Boss 9 and a Blk Blk Hemi Cuda.

I had a very similar experience. One of friends dad had owned a '70 black on black 4 speed Hemi Cuda. He used to go down the street once in a while like a bat out of he**. He once gave me a ride down the street and he probably got it close to 100 mph. I was about the sme age as you when you first sat in that one. Later as we grew older he kept it inside of the garage covered and I remember asking my friend Scotty Hjeltness to uncover it from time to time just to admire it. I was hooked on '70 Cuda's ever since.

There is a 70 Black on Black Hemi Cuda that lives at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway and just sits in a shop there. Very well known car in the San francisco Bay Area . A buddy of mine and I took it to a Chrysler gig in San Jose around 1984 or so for the owner.Shame the car just sits now

My other buddy in San Francisco also has a black on black Hemi Cuda , very well known car also . Same family since 1973 . Only difference is this guy is well known to tear up asphalt with his car frequently

an old friend of mine bought a triple black hemi-cuda at Atlantic City Auction years ago..had to be about 1992??...I thought he was nuts for paying 44k for the car even though it was a supposedly all original survivor car. He bought a little decode book and we sat there and decoded the 2 fender tags after he bought it. He always let me and my little 15 year old brother drive (beat on) his toys, from Z-28's to LS-6's to Turbo Porsche's, to his Nissan NSX. He couldn't drive a 4-speed musclecar the way they were intended, so I had to always "show him what they were intended for"
but I never did get to take that Cuda for a spin..
bummer... but I sure remember that car !!! SWEETTTT
