Original 1111499 distributor, used on 1969 L78 396/375hp and L72 427/425hp engines.
Dated 9 D 28, April 28 1969.
Spins freely and the coil connector wire and grommet are in good shape as seen in pictures.
The pipe on the vacuum advance was removed and the advance plate has been siliconed into place by the vacuum advance to avoid any advanced timing, this is not permanent and can be removed easily.
Vacuum advance is stamped MS 355 15.
There are a few other 499 distributors listed with the same date for stamp comparisons, one in sold listings and one in parts for sale at double the price.
This is a great distributor to add to your 375 hp or 425 hp engine after it is gone through at a fair price.
