Default What's the history on this COPO 9561 Camaro?

Pics were in a small group on FB, I've not seen this car before:

Just saw this on FB too. Wondering what the story on it is. It’s got killer patina… I would throw a drivetrain in and drive as is!

Broadcast sheet looks like the VIN is N623987 or N623981.

Neither is a ZL1 Vin

Looks like COPO 9561 on the sheets

9561 is "just" a COPO. ZL1's are 9560.

Love to hear/see more, cool if a newly found Huebner 9561 car!
Huebner ZL1 9L650977 exists, restored w/ accident damage repaired also undisturbed cowl/stampings/tags as below link.
Note Interior Showroom pic Rick posted recently on Pg.5 which is reportedly the ZL1, pic again as below.

I agree, it's N623987 and COPO 9561 on the Broadcast Sheets.

Saw this on FB yesterday.. Cool find. I’d try to get a dentless repair on the fender!

pretty cool to have two braodcast sheets on a COPO. (I only ever found one in a 68 with the owner’s manual and protecto plate packet) Wonder wher they were found in the car.
