Default '66 Chevy II "Grumpy's Toy" Tribute

I wasn't familiar with the history of the original car - sounds like it was totaled in a towing accident.

At a $50k+ price point, I would want a really, incredibly nice effort with 100% period correct parts. This one looks pretty good but the modern SW tach and shift knob make me wonder what else I'd be swapping out.

Odd to see that both the original car (and this one) have 'DOUG' Headers (rather than Doug's) painted on the front fenders. I knew Doug Thorley from my Car Craft days and I'm guessing that probably pissed him off to see

The aftermath of the red/white car. The follow-up solid white Nova dabbled in SS/C & was the impetus of the potential of a small CID/flyweight combination which would eventually morph into a Vega five years later.
