Sharp Two-Tone '66 L-79 Chevy II
One of the sharpest color combos I've seen on an early Chevy II. Trim tag looks pretty 'crisp' to me and I'd like to see pics of the engine deck stamp considering this price point.

I think the tag could be fake, and I contacted the seller about the matching numbers description and showing all the stampings for evaluation. He said they were coming soon.
Buyer beware.

I couldn't say. I am pretty good on 69 Camaro tags. Not so much on others.
I will say L-79 second gen Nova's seem to be faked almost as often as 69 Z/28s on a proportional scale.

Stamping doesn't line up like the one in this thread:
https://www.stevesnovasite.com/threa...akdown.519889/ Also don't recall seeing any tag with a single Group 1 code that is not in the first slot but is instead jammed up next to the 2 in Group 2. And it is missing the punch hole at the bottom that indicates the body has shoulder belt anchorages, which an 06D car would have.

The rivets look button head pop, rather than the original flat head, expanding...

I love two tone painted cars and they are rather rare.
General Motors Corp. Front Seat Shoulder Straps. 3/16’’ hole stamp in the body number plate.

Here is a 66 Nova SS trim tag removed in 1978 for comparison. It's also a Norwood car (most were willow run)It has the hole referenced by that GM bulletin

Looking at both, I see quite a few differences.
