No kidding - I had the same drivetrain in a '66 Skylark GS convertible and it was thirsty as anything. Same annoying lifter tick as this one, too.

I have a friend who is into those cars who hired someone to go look at it. I'm told its real but has a lot of real needs. At the time seller was optimisitically hoping for more than $50k.
