Default Harrison Radiator Cross Bars

I have a 70 Camaro 3 Row C T / I A Radiator with F date code

This has a Top & Bottom Steel Bar that is pretty rusty and somewhat loose

Can it be replaced with ???? Or do I have to have a fab shop bend me
the correct shape..and then was it originally Soldered in Place ????

Chuck FWW if the originals are only rusty I just sandblast or media blasted my originals and reused them. They are almost impossible to see when the radiator is installed. I usually have my radiator shop remove them and the tanks and I blast them myself and remove the dents and dings from the tanks. Most radiator shops probably Will let you do this. Also older radiator shops seem to hang onto old radiators so maybe ask around your area? Maybe they may have some cross bars that fit your radiator.

I will ask SEATTLE RADIATOR to remove the crossbars so I can blast and prime them....

If tanks are not dented ( C A / I T ) I'll ask them to boil it out ............

If Tanks were to be dented, can I assume that the tanks need to be removed from
the core so that dents can be worked from Inside....

Also I need to inspect the core ??? Can I comb the fins straight if not too badly
flattened ????

Thanks for your advice

Chuck - last I checked, Heartbeat was out of top and bottom bars & didn't plan to replenish their stock. Too bad you're so far away, as there is a really good shop here in PA that restores/re-cores the radiators - probably good shops out there too. You can straighten the fins, but I always re-core using correct core. I don't want to risk having my restored car running hot or developing leaks.

Just my 2 cents :-)

What are the names of the mfg's that make classic Camaro Radiator Cores.........

I was told that new crossbars come with the core, so why not use the new ones if they dont show anyway ?????

RON L, Do you advise going with 2 Row Core or Three Row......My Correct Tank 70 Z28
Radiator current has worn 3 Row and Im not sure why
