Wow, that was an awesome move and very ballsy! I'm betting Rick is right though and NASCAR will ban it somehow so it doesn't happen on the last lap every week going forward.

If it gets more people to watch Nascar, they probably won't ban it. Imagine that move at Daytona

The you tube vid from different angles really shows how far he went on the wall and looks like a rocket going around.

Simply amazing. Who would have ever thought that rubbing the wall the entire way around would be faster than just running in the wind? I'd have thought that the friction would have slowed the car way down, but I guess that's just not true in that situation.
Wild. I wonder what Dale Earnhardt would have thought of that move.

I'm sure friction did slow the car, but when he was already going twice as fast as the rest of the pack around that curve, he had more than enough momentum to get the speed he needed.

Earnhardt SR ?? He would have loved it and wished he had done it....

As amazing as this is... it could have ended much differently had that car come off the wall in pieces.

There wasn’t a driver in the bunch that didn’t say to themselves, “Why didn’t I think of that!!” The hair on the back of my neck is still standing! Love it!
