Default Van Nuys parking brake cable

I was looking at photos of the Burnished Brown COPO at BJ Scottsdale and noticed this parking brake cable arrangement. It looks like extra brackets welded to the rear frame rails? Was this a VN only thing?

That's my late Norwood car. I'll ask a friend that has a 69 LA car. My 68 is LA. I'll look at it also....Joe

I guess I should go look at my car, I just didn’t recall it being there.

That bracket holds the front part of the parking brake cable. Uses the clip shown.

My memory has failed me on this one. Dug through some of the restoration photos, and the brackets are there. Sorry for the ultimately useless thread
