Default Interesting '72 Z/28, Orig 4.10 Gear

Keep in mind this car is being sold out of Angola, IN - not sure if this is Greg Long but I assume the seller is connected. Cool car nonetheless in great colors. What is the sYc contingent's feeling on the originality of the window sticker?

I assume it's NOM as the seller doesn't make any claims about having the original engine.

One thing's for sure...the pictures in this auction are atrocious - seller needs to get this thing out in the daylight and shoot some respectable iPhone pics.

Hmmm, why aren't the 4.10's listed on the window sticker? Were they even available in '72???

Default 72 z28....

The 4.10 gear was available in 1972 and again in 1973 per Colvin's book.

I'm not sure about the window sticker...probably a repro. Comparisons to other known real ones would solve the problem.

Last year for solids...

ZQ9 "Performance Gear" was the 4:10 gear ratio I believe (That's what it was listed in my LS-6 Chevelle Original window sticker). I say the window sticker is a reproduction by the way the final numbers are listed after the N for Norwood.

Seller also has this so assume it is part of Greg Long family of fine products.

I owned a 72 with M22 and 410 gears. It's been 30 years ago but recall about 600 cars built with M22 and low # of 410 as well. No so much on the window sticker.
