I hated those old wood block floors. They were coated in something, like creosote, so they smelled really strong and got all over your shoes so that you tracked it everywhere.

I used to take my shop shoes off and set them in the bed of the truck before driving home, in an attempt to keep the mess out of my truck and out of my house.

----Chris,,, As much as these pics are really cool, I'd kill to see them in color, but know that probably won't happen. Keith,,,Did the exhaust manifold get blue overspray or were they installed later?.....Bill S

Hi Bill,

I can answer that question.

No Pontiac Blue overspray on the exhaust manifolds.

They were installed after the engine spray on (64-67).

Here ya go Bill,

Color.

1965 GTO with the (California Sold New) option #614.

Short hoses connecting the air cleaner bases shown on the other side.
Plus the flat sealed oil fill cap on RH side valve cover.

Factory correct Blue overspray on the bottom lip of the valve cover.

Also, early ‘65 fan with “round” rivet heads.

Plus, only 4 Bolts securing the exhaust manifold, which is correct.

Great picture, Chris. I bet those air cleaner elements are hard to find.
