Angry Block a Member from sending me messages?

Is it possible to block a member from sending me messages? I have someone who, over the years has tried to beat me (and other members of this site) out of cars. A few days ago, he tried to buy my Nova, but eventually backed out (once again) blaming me for vehicle transport costs and (get this...) his state tax on the car. Grrrrr...

Go into the User CP, and on the left there is an Ignore feature. Maybe add that person and see if it screens out their messages?

Did it. It now tells me he is on my ignore list, but the last message he sent is still in my mailbox. I deleted the rest earlier..anyway it might work. Thx.

I have used "ignore" before on this site. I have no idea if it blocks PMs.

I can attest to 'ignore' working well ... my wife uses it on me several times a week

Lynn came up with the idea to test the system. I temporarily put him my ignore list and then he sent me a PM. I did not receive it. So it works. Thanks Lynn!
