Default Quick question on paint.....

Doors were installed for painting correct? Were the door latches and striker pin also installed before paint? Curious if the latch screws and striker should be body color.
Thanks
Jim

I've noted several 68 survivors with the latch having remnants of body paint also and assume 67 but not sure.

69 Norwood had the door latches and striker pins as well as trunk latch and catch installed prior to paint.
