1969 1108418 working starter core Sept 68 date

Hi Friends, I have a working 418 1108418 starter core available here - in VERY original condition and I witnessed it starting a BBC on a run stand less than 24 hours ago - it works, no doubt - perfect for an original car with 50 year old patina... I doubt it's ever been rebuilt. It has some pitting on the case as I've tried to show, but the stampings are clear and certainly original and a good candidate for a freshening up / going over. Only bad issue that I noticed upon removal was that the 491 cast nose cone is cracked, as shown - it's still attached and didn't affect it's operation, but I want you aware. you could probably pry it off with a breaker bar, but it was still attached and didn't come off upon removal.

It works if that matters. Lots of photos below.
