Default Original GM Big Block Chevy Deep Oil Pan w/ Windage Tray & Oil Pump/Pickup 6 Quart

This is an original GM deep oil pan with windage tray and oil pump/pickup. I believe these were used by GM on certain high performance applications like 68 COPO Novas and 67 L-88 engines. Many supercar builders used these on new cars they built. The 69 Harrell Camaro I used to own had one of these pans installed when new. This is a great day to addition to add to a car while still keeping it all GM.

These parts are all original GM units. The oil pan is GM part number 3879633. The windage tray is 3879640. The oil pump has the casting numbers 3860376 and 3860370 as shown. These factory high performance deep pan parts rarely come up for sale, especially in this condition.

These parts are all in very good original condition. All parts are in bare metal so you don't have to worry about any surprises hiding under the paint. The pan is very clean with some scrape marks on the rear edge of the sump and no major dents, pitting, corrosion, etc. The original "A" drain plug is intact and in good shape. The windage tray is also in very good shape with no breaks, modifications, pitting, etc. The oil pump is also nice and spins freely. The pickup is not welded to the pump like others I have had which is interesting. That said, this pump and pickup were being used with this pan and I believe they are made for it. It is possible the factory had 2 different part numbers, one for a welded pickup and the other without.

This is a really nice factory high performance deep oil pan setup. These rarely come up for sale and when they do theyare usually incomplete, rusted, damaged, repaired, etc.

$1000 plus shipping for this setup.

Thanks,

Jason
