Vinyl roofs on race cars were something that Smokey Yunick tested on his 67 Camaro.
It went faster with Vinyl roof, Golf ball effect

I don't think Smokey was testing the Bernoulli effect....more like testing the Band-Aid effect of hiding body modifications with a vinyl top with padding.

It was the one that won the quarter million quarter mile race against Super John 69 Camaro

How many are these cars around and spoken for? Was the challenger and cuda hemi cars?

The ones I know of is
Heavys Duster its in Sweden and is restord
Heavys Challenger on Long Island in pieces
Grumpys Toy IV only the shell remains (I been told)
Heavys 69 Camaro (Im not going to talk about it)

Heavys Challenger was a Sox&Martin built (body in white?)
Heavys Cuda had a Hemi but dont know if it was Original Hemi Cuda. (I dont think so)
