I have been patiently waiting to see how long we can get away with this thread until it gets locked down due to the non-supercar topic. I have been taking advantage while I can and they are all away at B-J.
Actually it has been kind of nice seeing/hearing from a lot of the closet big car people. Nice to know that some give these cars a little appreciation anyway. Until I can locate (and afford) the proverbial supercar, this is as good as it gets. And since the LS-6 is very near to my heart, it may be longer than hoped. Dennis, I and a few others are starting a support group. Rick

I think most guys on here like the big cars. Afterall that is where the COPO engine came from in 1969. Motion Performance sold the big car as one of their "fantastic five" and called it the "street racers special". The 68 L72 Biscayne was listed in the Motion ads for $2998.00.

According to the Motion Biscayne article, an 1969 L-72 Biscayne would be a lot rarer than a copo camaro and almost as rare as a ZL1 camaro , immagine how much they're worth? It's wild though; a 4000lbs tank doing 11's!

o.k. so I've been reading this one for a while,I past on a 69 427 4speed convert in about 86-87 they wanted 1200.oo I only had 1000.oo.it needed a top and paint, though I did check the the eng. code itwas a 427 I didn't about matching #'s then so I dont know if it was orginal or not.
also last summer there was a 67 maroon 427/4speed at a local elks show does it belong to anyone here!
