What do any of you US guys know of Max Webster as it's often sporadic what Canada groups made it through to the US markets?

Max Webster...as in Kim Mitchell (Go for a soda)?

We saw Kim Mitchell and the Fabulous Thunderbirds open up for Bryan Adams at the Pacific Ampitheater in the &quot;Summer of 85&quot;... I can remember the date clearly as Bryan replaced &quot; Summer of 69&quot; with &quot;Summer of 85&quot;...Kim was wearing all pink...with high top tennis shoes... And was really skinny!

Kim's the greatest guy musically also to talk to in person too but I always preferred the earlier Webster era music over his later 'more poppy' solo career.

I thought I read somewhere that he just retired? Or maybe it was a friend who was a radio DJ told me?
