Yep............Have to back track a little.......Just to go back to a subject that still bothers me is the Instructions and Quality in the Heidt's front end just flat out sucks........Besides all the Quality issues......their instructions are terrible.......so....we buy the front end for a 66 Nova.....Simple right.....LOL.....As I get ready to put the engine in I notice that it doesn't look like the stock Nova pan will work........call them and they said I was right...need to change to a rear sump......O.K.......Why don't you put that in your instructions so I could plan accordingly................and......I go to hook up the steering.......My old Hooker Super Comps are a no go.....New Headers.........Get all that stuff done and moved into the interior.

.......Dakota Digital VHX gauges..........What a treat to actually get something that actually exceeds your expectations......The Gauges and Fan controller Fit and are simple to hook ......Great Job Dakota Digital

When I went to start the engine......the MSD box was dead........Ended up putting in a Pertronix plug and play Distributor.........It's going for the front end alignment on Thursday.....still got a bunch of loose ends but the list is getting shorter....

What aftermarket AC unit are you using, and how do you like it (fit of underdash unit and quality)?

Boy! I hear ya' on the instructions not being any good and those last couple of issues. I'm real close to finishing up a frame-off on another Olds ('72 442 350 4-speed) and I've encountered some of the same type problems you are experiencing. Oldsmobile stuff just isn't produced in the mass quantity that Chevy stuff is, so "building" one has it's challenges. I'd say the "worst" was a new wiring harness being assembled wrong---not MY assembly, but the actual harness had two black wires backwards at the pig-tail junction. Your car looks GREAT and keep at it. Sometimes it is hard to stay focused when "NEW" items turn out to be worse that the ones you are replacing!

Great work as usual Ken,I am digging the gauges alot. I have always wanted a plain jane 66/67 Chevy II with skinnie and big chevy ralleys and disc brake center caps, some reason that vision does something for me.....not that Torque Thrusts dont.LOL Either way I would love to have one of those in my collection.Greta job.
