This Artesian Turquoise 66 Nova has a 434 and runs 11.00's. It's also a bench seat car with a column shifter so that's kind of cool as well. This car belongs to Larry Perry and I saw it a number of times at Joliet in the early '00's. He had it at the Chevy Vette Fest as well.

This is one of the nicest 66 Nova drag cars I've ever seen. It's powered by a 572 and ran mid 8's. They said it usually runs low 8's, but they were having problems getting it to hook off the line.

Here's another 68 Nova. It also has a small block and was running 10.00's. I have a picture of this car from Osceola Dragway back in '97 and have seen it at Joliet numerous times as well.

This is Mike Thompson's 68 Chevelle SS. It had a 540 with some nitrous and was running 9.10's. Some of you may remember this car from the early days of Fastest Street Car racing as well. There was a color centerspread of it in Hot Rod doing an on the bumper wheel stand. He used to run with the Chicago Outlaw Super Stocks back in the 90's as well.

The Chicago Outlaw Super Stocks used to run at all the Midwest Super Chevy Show events back in the 90's and 00's. They were all powered by big blocks with a bunch of nitrous and ran in the high 7's while doing big wheel stands. There are still a few of these cars around and about eight or so showed up at Joliet for a little reunion. I don't remember seeing this 69 Chevelle SS run with them back in the day, but he ran with them at this event. He was running 7.80's.
