These pictures were in a old house I bought as a rental. Guy was a Photographer for the local paper.
Sorry that one is not gas station related, but it has an interesting, artistic appeal to it IMO.

Green is the most common,used @ docks,farms,bulk plants and many stations too.
Blue &amp; Red are the most sought after &amp; usually have to pay a premium.
White,Yellow &amp; Cream the hardest to find,but not much interest once they are,due to those colors.

Bought a few things from someone out of state.
Turned out,they used to own a local Sunoco Gas station right here a few towns over from me as a kid,Dons Sunoco.

Back in the day I had a Summer job at a local Sunoco.Pumped a lot of 260 into quite a lot of muscle cars!This sign is in my mancave....one of my prized possesions!

I worked at a Sunoco during my formative years and love the memorabilia:-)

The best days were when hot cars came in to gas up of beautiful women came in to gas up....... I always washed their windows:-)

I, too, worked at a Sunoco The summer of '78. I was 17. It was a magical time. Pumped a lot of 260 as well. I also worked at a Firestone tire store that same summer. I would work the day at F-stone, then go and work the evening shift and close the Sunoco station. Changed a lot of those radial 500s that separated and the steel came out. The proceeds of that summer went to a kick butt home stereo and my first V8 car- 1967 SS396 Chevelle 4speed. Marina blue with blue bucket interior, Cragar s all around. I absolutely loved that car. Had some great times in it. My folks were so peed off. That second picture Rick put up in that 4 picture grouping is identical to the station where I worked. Man, have I got stories from there!!
