I really liked the 72 convert forsale, but the cracked original block scared me off. It was priced right. steering wheel was very puzzling. I spent a lot of time looking at that car, very cool and solid. |

I will be a RS on Friday night with Elliot J. who is selling his very nice silver 1971 w-30 convertible auto with air and cruise control car. Fully documented car. Saturday I will spend the afternoon and evening at BJ. Bob, Charlie, Stefano, Don.....I will look for you. I will miss the blue 1970 w-30 convt 4 speed at BJ on Friday night. If someone could take a bunch of detailed pictures of the car for my files I would appreciate it. Lee |

Is the blue car documented other than non-# matching? What is its condition? Because it sold for a mild price. |

The blue '70 W-30 conv. belonged to a friend, very nicely restored car. I don't know what it has for docs but it is a real W-30 4spd, was surprised it didn't sell for quite a bit more. B-J estimated selling price was in the mid-$100's. |

Even nom seems to be a ridiculous hit for 1/96 . perhaps had it gone Sat prime time . DL

I liked the blue car. It was one of the better buys of the auction. A documented 1 of 96 good color. I think the seller was shocked as were my olds friends. The re-bodied ZL1 went for good money and a rare olds that was admittedly non number matching engine with some heavy body work should have still broke well into the $100ks. But that is the hazard of the no reserve auction. Note to Charlie.......you should have started the '55, it would have been worth another 200k. Lee |
