Mark, Your bio is "manager at dealership" she had to know that you had oil for blood when she met you!! I met my wife in August of 1973 at Maple Grove Raceway. Been together ever since! There is NO question in her mind that I will never give up cars so we incorporate the 3 grandkids and any of our own kids who wants to come to a couple local shows to come. I support my wife on her hobbies and she supports me on my stuff. Plus, when I kick the bucket all this stuff is hers. If she sells all this car stuff and paper stuff I have for a dollar its a profit for her. Explain that to the little women. Better yet..... tell her to call the First Lady of Donahue, Iowa and she WILL set her straight!! She is the reigning queen of the nova/Deuce world!!!!

Sam and Ken, I am making my wife out to be a bad person and that is not fair to her. The last company I worked at for 18 years required a large commitment of time. The owner set this standard and he still has one of the strongest work ethics I have seen. My wife stresses that I spend quality time with the family doing activities that everybody enjoys. The cars I enjoy but everyone else has found other interests, so we compromise allot. If you saw the last two L-78 project cars I brought home over the last couple of years. You could understand her concerns.

That RP is a slave driver...

Good that you do family stuff too Mark. There is always compromise...give and take, you know?

Now...just set your wife straight that when we come to visit...it'll be all about cars... (Just kidding)

Bruce, I look forward to seeing you. Just give me a little advance notice so I can have car dialed in. Not like the last time you came by and I broke the 540 in the white car the week end before.

That is a great idea. I have probably walked past some of the people on this site at a car show and did not know who they were.

We'll get Bart and Mark (Latebrake), Dave L., Dana, and you (Mark). Who else lives in the area? (We could always force Charley to come down, too! )
