Clarification on Dick Harrell 69 Camaro's

With Kelsey Strippers on it, it would be more convincing as a DH car, and i would have to say I agree Steve, it probably is a DH car. Not too many people ran those at the drags besides Harrell. Now slot mags, thats a different story!

Joe,

In response to your question about the DH emblem, I got one
two weeks ago through ebay that appears to be new. I was
told buy the seller that these are exactly the way they
were done back in the day. I think it came from DH itself.

I can assure my emblem is brushed aluminum and not polished
at all. So, I'm confused now.

Nuch: not sure if you saw the post, but I posted pictures of 2 different *original* DH emblems on page 3, and they are most definitely chrome...

The emblems on the 69 are supposed to be chrome with a textured blue background. They are made out of a cast pot aluminum and the posts on the back are very fragile. There is a difference from the ones that I've seen re-popped.

The repops sold have a period on the end of Dick's name also the red and white is WRONG Kim Howie

The repops are all red on the bottom and the REAL ones were, red,white,red,white,red,white PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!
