Default 69 RS ZL1 Clone-Pro Touring Animal

Yellow RS ZL1 Clone. Featured in July Popular Hotrodding. When the feature was done it had a 468 in it that made 720 rwhp. It now has a Aluminum Arias 540 with a Procharger that is making a bunch more and it does it on pump gas. Ported Canfield Heads, EFI.This car is not for the Timid. Vintage Air Heat and Air, Wayne Due Subframe with C4 Corvette suspension, power rack and pinion steering Tremec 5 speed , Fab 9 rear, Deluxe Interior with Corbeau seats done in Black Comfortweave, fold down rear seat, tach and guages, 140 speedo, woodgrain dash, AM FM, rear speaker, rear window defog. Charley, What an animal! I have piloted a seven second car in the past and am not easily intimidated, this car gives me the uneasy tension of the possible "Last Road Trip" just looking at it sitting still. This would be a ecentric car to put into production with the exception of the obvious liability issues that would evolve from the person with too much money and no driving skill. How is the center of gravity and handling characteristics on this beast? How bout a idea as to how many big ones will it take to part company with this rocket? Pm if you prefer. I am in awe....

I've personally seen the car in Charlie's shop. It looked remarkable/outstanding. ( Actually every car Charlie had in his shop was remarkable/outstanding ). I think his description of " Pro Touring Animal " is not only accurate but a conservative description.
