It is encouraging to hear that there are still some good swap meets out there. Here in North Texas, the largest swap meet, Pate Swap Meet, continues to decline in my opinion. The decline is not in the need or participation but in how poorly it is organized. The swap meet is spread out over a massive area outside the Texas Motor Speedway and the bulk of the vendor spaces are occupied by parked cars, pick-ups, RV's and "private outhouses". In many instances there are 100 yards between actual vendors. If they removed the vehicles and RV's that are not for sale the swap meet area would be 1/3 the size.

I got a green one and a blue one with white stripes. Both are 71-72 version with the crumple ribs. I never saw an early one.
